Brandywine Manor House Wedding | Kylee & Matt

This love story started by pretend and then turned into something very real. It all started when Kylee asked Matt to pretend to be her boyfriend at their local college bar. That chance encounter turned into intentional meet-ups over pancakes, coffee, and music. Years later here we are at Brandywine Manor House. They started as friends then it turned out to be something more in the end.

Kylee is ever the planner and you can tell by how intentional every detail of their wedding was. They wanted their day to reflect their relationship so they pulled inspiration from their travels, favorite movies and music. For instance, they love the movie Mama Mia, so they used the movie color pallet as inspo for the floral color pallet. They also wanted to incorporate as much of their guests into the wedding as well.

Brandywine Manor House has a beautiful garden called Oak Grove where Kylee & Matt had their ceremony. They had a ring-warming ceremony where their wedding rings were passed around and their loved ones got to hold the rings before they were exchanged. Vows of their forever kind of love rooted in friendship and deep understanding of each other were spoken and tears flowed, love was so strongly in the air that it was almost palpable.

Wherever we are in the world feels like the right place to be as long as the other is by our side. That type of friendship and togetherness leads to an indescribable feeling that can only be confirmation of finding “the one”. – Kylee describing their relationship

One amazing example of how Kylee & Matt made their guests feel special was by handwriting almost 200 individal notes to each guets in place of traditional escort cards. Additionally, they also included wedding photos of their guests displayed at cocktail hour.

There was no shortage of intentional details at this Brandywine Manor House wedding. For instance, the reception tent was decorated with DIY disco balls made specifically to work in the tent. Additionally, there were handcrafted table numbers, curated CD for each guest with a soundtrack to their wedding and more! They wanted their reception to feel like a big party and they did not disappoint!
