Wedding in South Jersey | Jenny-Lee & Shaun

Jenny-Lee & Shaun’s South Jersey Wedding. What a magical day filled with so many smiles and the best kind of tears (seriously it’s my favorite thing to see the groom’s face fall apart when he sees his bride for the first time), and all the shots (sha-sha-sha-shots), to the cutest grandma and her little point and shoot camera from like 2005 (homegirl was there for every moment of the day, camera-ready).

The whole day took place at Jenny-Lee’s parents’ estate in South Jersey. They didn’t have a big bridal party just a sibling and a best friend keeping it simple and sweet. Jenny-lee picked the best room to get ready in. It had clean white walls and a big window that took up one of the main walls. This is a photog’s dream. Shaun got ready a floor down, in a similar room that had the same white walls and plenty of windows. The best part of the getting ready portion of the day wasn’t the white walls and big windows, it was Jenny-lee’s reaction to the gift Shaun got her. He almost made her cry before the ceremony even started.

My favorite part of the ceremony was Shaun’s face as he saw his bride walk down the aisle. Watching and capturing his face slowly fall apart truly tugged at my heartstrings. Although, he first tried to hold back but abandoned those efforts quickly. As a result of doing first looks so often, I almost forgot how magical this moment is when it happens in the actual ceremony.

This wedding in South Jersey would not have been as amazing as it was without the help of Tamara and the rest of her Lush Meetings & Events team. Because they were so amazing, they deserve a lil snippet here. Further, they are so detail-oriented and so personable that you feel like fast friends with Tamara and her team. It reinforces why wedding planners are so needed. Because they take your vision and level it up in ways beyond your wildest dreams. When I asked Tamara her thoughts on this wedding day and the process she said:

“Planning Jenny-Lee & Shaun’s September wedding was such an exciting and intricate process! Jenny’s vision for her day was pure romance and she wanted the entire event outdoors. We incorporated gorgeous shades of soft pink flowers, silk linens, and beautiful gold toned antique pieces to bring the feeling of romance to life! Every detail, from the fiery candle centerpieces down to the tiniest shot glass, blended together seamlessly. “

Shaun & Jenny-lee’s joy was infectious, and their love for each other is so prominent and profound it’ll melt even the coldest of hearts. From their tear-jerking vows to them tearing it up on the dancefloor, it was truly an amazing wedding day and it was an absolute honor to be a part.
