South Jersey Weddings | Michele & Damien

What do the Eagles and Michele & Damien have in common (besides their photog)? When the Eagles got their super bowl ring, Michele met the man that would one day put a ring on it.

Weddings in South Jersey are my second favorite (after Philly of course), provided that it’s nice to get out of the city and switch out the views and vibes. There’s something about the burbs that give things a more slowed-down feel. Plus, there’s an endless amount of greenery which is always a win in my book.

Michele & Damien chose a South Jersey Wedding Venue that fit them. Bogeys gave all the late summer chill vibes with simple yet chic lawn furniture and a fire bit. The day started at a South Jersey Hotel where Damien and his guys got ready, then we went to their home where Michelle and her girls were getting ready. And I got to pet their puppies which very much made my day.

Following, I arrived at the South Jersey wedding venue so that I could scout out a first-look location. The sun was beaming so my #1 priority was shade! My favorite part of every first look is the groom’s face when he sees his future wife all done up for the first time. Absolutely nothing like it.

Since they did a first look, we did all the formal photos before the ceremony! This is one of the main upsides of doing a first look. In fact, it was super important to Michele & Damien that they would be able to enjoy cocktail hour. With this in mind, a first look was vital to making that happen. They kept their wedding ceremony short and before you knew it, it was cocktail hour!

We stole the bride & groom for 15min right after the ceremony to get just a few quick photos of them newly married. Given that this South Jersey Wedding Venue had a golf course, they wanted some photos on it! With this purpose, we got to hop in some golf carts and speed away, took photos, and sped right back!

This South Jersey Wedding was planned by the wonderful Tabitha, owner of Weddings by Tab. We had worked together once before so it was amazing to get to team up with her again! In fact, here’s a little insight into how she pulled together Michele & Damien’s wedding day:

“I have all my couples fill out a questionnaire with information about themselves, their love story, and some of their favorite things. From there and talking with Michele and Damian we designed the wedding pulling information from Savannah, Georgia where they got engaged. We also included the Mister Softee truck at the end of the night since they love desserts as a fun treat.”

Furthermore, a fun fact of mine is that my favorite part of any reception is the desserts! And this wedding reception had plenty! They knew the way to my heart! To top it off, in the last couple of hours they had a Mr. Softie truck and ya girl could not hold in her excitement!

So there you have it! To sum it up, this was a beautiful South Jersey Weddings day filled with laughter, love, and Mr. Sotftee. To see another favorite South Jersey Wedding Day you can click here!
